“We were at our wit’s end with our people-aggressive rescue dog, Watson. That is, until Delores came, and in a few hours we were on our way to becoming pack leaders. A different trainer had told us that Watson was “untrainable” and recommended that we put him down, but Delores
showed us that all he needed was a little discipline, and that all we needed was a little confidence! He has improved remarkably in the two months since Delores came, and so have our lives.
Thanks, Delores!” – Lauren & Dan

“A BIG thanks to Gail in the Power of the Pack office for referring Delores Burton of K9 Campus in Lancaster, California, to me this past summer! Delores worked a miracle for me and my two year-old Shepherd mix, Mona, an extremely fearful (of everything and everyone) dog I rescued off the busy streets of North Hollywood, CA when she was four months old. Delores recommended I read “Cesar’s Way” to begin with. I did and it helped tremendously. Mona now walks on leash with my four other dogs and has warmed up to me considerably. We are still working on some of her fears, but I am SO relieved and grateful to you and to Delores. The future looks happy and healthy for us now. I would recommend Delores to anyone and wanted to let you know that.
Thanks again!” – Doris, Tehachapi, CA

“You are a goddess. You did in 2 hours what four other professionals told me could not be done, and that my dog was a hopeless case.
Thank you!” – Bernard, Las Vegas

Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to come to California and mentor with you. You were very generous with your knowledge and we learned a great deal during our time with you. It was amazing to watch you work with many dogs and their owners, and the positive results were very encouraging. We were most impressed with the “aggressive” and “hopeless” cases and your compassion toward these animals as you assisted with
rehabilitation for the dog and family. We were able to bring what we learned back to Kentucky and begin helping dogs and their owners in our area. We continue to be amazed as we see the same wonderful results with our clients. We will continue down this path with you in hopes of saving the lives of animals and meeting the needs of our canine companions
as they so unselfishly bring happiness to us every day! – Angela and Pam, Dog’s Day Out, Bowling Green, Kentucky

I will never be able to thank Delores enough for the help she gave me with my “girls”. Before Delores, I hired a trainer and after several sessions, I did not see any improvement; their fighting with one another actually intensified. That same trainer told me that the reason my girls were fighting so viciously was because, “this is how nature deals with inbreeding and if they continue fighting, you should find a new home for one of them so they could both live a happy life.” I was discouraged and devastated after this experience. My girls are like my children, and choosing to find a new home for one of them was not an option.
Fawn and Snowy: These two used to fight all the time and had to be kept separate. They are now best friends.
Then, I contacted Delores; she was so encouraging and she told me from the beginning that I would not have to find a new home for one of them. In just one session, she showed me how to become “pack leader” in a calm, assertive way. She explained that my girls were fighting to establish dominance, but once I showed them that I was the “pack leader,” then the fighting would stop, and it did. With patience and persistence, I started using what Delores taught me the moment she left my home and each day I saw improvement. Today, I do not have the problems with my girls that I had before. I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with Delores; she is a true leader in her profession.

I have worked with Delores over the years with many rescue dogs that were deemed impossible to train and have always been amazed at the results that she gets with the most hopeless dogs. She turns them into angels. She has saved countless lives of dogs that ordinarily would have been euthanized due to aggressive or bad behavior. Her understanding of animal behavior is phenomenal. After just 2 sessions with my own unruly Boxer, Elvis, he became a different dog and a joy to be around. He really listens now. THANK YOU DELORES FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US!!!

UPDATE: Caitlyn contacted me this morning. She said she started instituting “pack order” and following Delores’ directions as soon as she got off of the phone with her yesterday. Caitlyn said her dogs have since not even had a hint of a fight; not even a little snarl. She said it’s like night and day in her household. Wow! I am thoroughly impressed. I gotta write an article about this if Delores has the time for an interview. What a miracle worker. Thanks so much! xoxo -Naida

Hi Delores,
I just wanted to thank you for helping me. Buddy and I are doing great on our walks and now my husband is even taking him on his runs.
I do want to set up an appointment with you soon but wanted to thank you.
Also Isabell from Paw Parent wanted me to tell you that the techniques you taught her has enabled her to rehabilitate one of her new rescues and she had decided to keep him as her own.
Thanks again,
Cristine

We continue to put to use the things we learned from you. I am getting calls every week. The word is getting around in our area that there is someone willing to help dogs and owners with aggression and other behavior issues. There are many people in Kentucky grateful you are willing to share your knowledge.

Our Mutts, Your Handiwork:
I don’t know if you recall helping us out a nearly two years ago, but we had a severe aggression problem among our dogs when we decided to rescue a pit mix from slaughter at the Lancaster animal shelter. As it turned out the problem was not the “evil” pit bull, but our older dog being overly protective and staring fights that she could not finish. There were myths to overcome in find advice on our situation and it was becoming desperate as pit bulls have such a bad rep, and also how two fixed females can’t get along. Your very timely response to our call for help when other “behaviorists” had given up or not responded is still appreciated. It was a bad situation that I am certain would not have ended well for one or both of the dogs without your intervention. We have since moved to Huntsville, Alabama and our two fixed females get along quite well. I’m attaching a short video clip of them lounging after nicely playing.
Thanks again,
Neil and Lynda Masco
